Schedule: Click to see Calendar Students will be assigned in different levels according to the assessment result. Each level consists of 2 years of curriculum and class materials. Students take 2nd year in the same level will have different material than the 1st year Level 1 (2nd - 4th Grade) Problem Solving training for
Level 2 (4th - 5th Grade) Problem Solving training for
Level 2 Advanced (5th - 6th Grade) This is a more intensive and faster pace level 2 class designed for upper grade students or who has completed MathSeed competitive math level 2 class in the prior year. Problem Solving for
Level 3 - AMC 8 & MATHCOUNTS (6th Grade & above) Problem Solving training with past AMC 8 and MATHCOUNTS questions. Compared to the level 4 class, this level 3 class spends more time on teaching the concepts required for the AMC 8 and MATHCOUNTS. Topics includes counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, spatial visualization, real world applications, reading and interpreting graphs and tables, linear or quadratic functions and equations, coordinate geometry. Level 4 - AMC 8 & MATHCOUNTS (7th Grade & above) This is a more intensive and faster pace class designed for upper grade students or who has completed level 3 class in prior year. This level 4 class spends less time on teaching the concepts than level 3 because the upper grade students have the knowledge of the required concepts. Topics includes counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, spatial visualization, real world applications, reading and interpreting graphs and tables, linear or quadratic functions and equations, coordinate geometry. AMC 10 Problem Solving training with past AMC 10 questions. Topics includes algebra, geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, area and volume, number theory, and probability. Note: Math Competition Program DOES NOT follow the school curriculum. Students are responsible for all school work, exams, and standardized tests. Please check our Singapore math Hybrid Program and Combo Discount if the students need help on school curriculum. |
