 Pre-Algebra (Middle School CC2)This course covers the Common Core CC2 math curriculum. Topics include Algebra Expression, Linear Equations, Sequence, Triangles and Quadrilaterals, Cartesian Coordinate System, Slopes, Statistics and Probability, Geometric Figures, etc. Weekly Challenging word problems to prepare for math competitions.Pre-Algebra & Geometry (FUSD CC2 & CC3 Acceleration)This course covers the Common Core CC2 and CC3 math curriculum, i.e. 7th grade accelerated math pathway curriculum.  Topics include Algebra Expression, Linear Equations, Triangles and Quadrilaterals, Sequence, Cartesian Coordinate System, Slopes, Statistics, Probability, Pythagorean Theorem, Volume and Surface Area of Geometric Figures, etc.  Weekly Challenging word problems to prepare for math competitions.Algebra IThis course covers the 8th grade accelerated pathway Common Core curriculum.  Topics include Proportions, Absolute Value, Slopes, System of Linear Equations and Inequalities, Quadratic Equation, Cartesian Coordinate System, Function, etc.  Weekly Challenging word problems to prepare for math competitions.Geometry (High School)This course is a high school Geometry class.  It covers reasoning and proofs, transformations, congruence, similarity, right triangles and trigonometry, expressing geometric properties with equations, geometric measurement and dimension, statistics and probability.Geometry and Algebra 2-Trig (FUSD High School Double Acceleration)This course covers the high school Geometry and Algebra 2, i.e. FUSD 9th grade accelerated math pathway curriculum. Students learn sequence and series, polynomials, and analyze complex configurations that help them to build a solid foundation in calculus. Geometry class covers reasoning and proofs, transformations, congruence, similarity, right triangles and trigonometry, expressing geometric properties with equations, geometric measurement and dimension, statistics and probability. Algebra 2 covers polynomials and rational expressions, functions and graphing, linear, quadratic, and exponential functions and their respective inverse functions.
